Dacia is a Romanian carmaker founded in 1966, with its factory at Mioveni near Pitești. It began by building Renault-licensed cars, the 1100 and the Renault 12-based 1300, and since Renault bought it in 1999 it has become known for affordable models such as the Logan, Sandero, Duster and Jogger.
